_MG_5060 copy Getting There/Away

Since Mollendo is a bit off the Gringo path…

Areqiupa > Mollendo: Take the Santa Ursula bus line (terminal located across the street from the backside of the main Terrepuerto). Tickets are $3.50 and leave every half an hour.

Moquegua > Mollendo: Before leaving for Mollendo, I searched high and low for travel options between Moquegua and Mollendo and found nothing. The fact of the matter is that buses either go back to Arequipa, or down the coast to Ilo. Moquegua is inland of Moquegua another hour or so.

I was told in Mollendo that I could take the bus to Ica, and then take a combi to Moquegua. We opted to break our trip into two instead, coming back to Arequipa inbetween.
