  • Wi-fi internet available in the front lobby and adjoining TV room.
  • Breakfast is nothing special. Dry roll, butter, jam, bananas, tea/coffee.
  • 10% South American Explorers discount.
  • Main guy, Arturo, will whip up Pisco Sours every once in a while and help you make bus reservations.
  • Rooms are basic. These guys seem like they are always trying to improve things, which I appreciate.

Antica Trattoria

  • Very good gourmet, wood fired pizza and Italian food! Upscale, but worth it. Comfortable atmosphere, in a nice part of town.

Rosa Nautica
Espigón 4, Circuito de Playas, Lima

  • Fancy food on the water. Great spot watching surfers and sea birds.

Museums

  • Museo Larco: Amazing collection of pre-Incan pottery. You won’t want to see any more afterward.
  • Museo de la Nación: Start on the floor with the Sendendero Luminoso photography exhibit.

Miraflores

  • Huaca Pucllana ruins
  • Larco Mar
  • Crafts markets on Avenida de Artesanía.

Lima Centro

  • Crafts market and view of Lima flag painted on mountain behind Convento de Santo Domingo
  • Circuito Magico del Agua (water fountain light show) in Parque de la Reserva

Outside the City

  • Pachacamac ruins via combi! (Benavides Avenida > Pan American Highway then Pan American Highway > Pachacamac)
