We’ve been married for two years today!
I still can’t believe I have a husband. I especially can’t believe my husband is Scott. He is… so great. I’m always scrambling to keep up my end of this deal.
We try to avoid the daily grind and the yearly ruts, and Year Two was a wild success in this regard. It has definitely been one of our best together. We risked driving each other insane, and discovered that 24/7 close proximity only makes it harder to be apart.
We’ll be spending the day on a 15 hour bus ride to Quito. Although that’s not ideal, celebrating tonight in a fresh, new foreign land seems appropriate.
p.s. We have seven hash marks to add to our rings when we’re back in Seattle! (Eight including the Bahamas!)
Congratulations! It has been amazing to follow your travels and experiences all these months! You really packed in the experiences, and truly made the most of your time there. I’m sure it is flying by for both of you.
It’s been nostalgically joyful and sad to follow your journey and reflect on my time in Peru compared to yours. I’m sure you will be glad to get home soon, but you’ll miss it all so much at the same time. So continue to make the most of it all!!

Happy belated you two. I cannot believe that it has been *two years* already. Good times! Funny, I recently wore the red polka-dot dress that I wore on your wedding…I wonder if it was on your anniversary!:) I’ll always remember it for your special day. You two are a great couple. Cheers!!
