We’re hitting the road again this week with my sister!! In the mean time, I have some posts for you about our new home base, Huanchacho.
We very easily found a great two room apartment-style hotel room to rent for the next couple of months. There are a LOT of monthly rentals available here in Huanchaco.
This one in particular is nicely laid out, secure and has a very fast internet connection! It’s probably less than half of the size of our awesome Arequipa apartment, but still great. (Note: I’m standing on a double bed in the second photo here. The single bed serves as my office, gym and dresser all in one.)
Like everything else in this town, it’s only about a block away from the ocean. (This photo is from just outside the front gate to the hotel.) And there is a sweet resident dog named Tony. And a sneaky resident little girl who only visits you if you give her candy.
I’d be at the waterfront every day. Lovely.
I am definitely planning on that!
