My mom and I have been working on these calendars this week after seeing the idea at a scrapbooking store. Crafting with her is a required Utah activity. Here are all of the parts:
Wood blocks
- 3 Month Blocks (Measurements: 1.5in x 1.5in x 4in)
- 2 Number Blocks (Measurements: 1.5in x 1.5in x 1.5in)
- Block A: 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5
- Block B: 0, 1, 2, 7, 8, 9
Mod Podge & brush
Coordinating paper
- 12 Month Block Backgrounds (Measurements: 1.25in x 1.25in x 3.75in)
- 12 Number Block Backgrounds (Measurements: 1.25in x 1.25in x 1.25in)
Letter stickers or rub-ons for letters and numbers (We actually used my mom’s WishBlade paper cutter, so if you’re lucky enough to have one of these, they turn out great.)

What block does the 6 go on? This is a great idea!
oh, or do you flip the 9?
Yeah, you’ve gotta flip the 9/6. You should choose whichever one (6 or 9) works best with your font. I think the one for this set was technically a 6. The 9 had an extra serif that looked wrong upside down.
