I need to give myself some more credit for being a pretty good music curator. Scott and I were having a conversation this weekend about who ‘found’ what music and introduced it into our relationship… I always assumed our music interests were driven by Scott. He introduced us to Morcheeba and Ben Kweller, afterall.
But, I’m realizing I’ve held my own with some goodies too. Beirut and Federico Aubele being two of them recently… and now I think I can add The Walkmen to the list.
I found them when I was scouring the Bumbershoot listings. And then today they were featured in the VeryShortList.com daily email because they are pre-selling their album for $5. Proceeds go to charity. The music is good too!
